So I keep hearing all this stuff about:

"It's June 12th !! if you have rabbit ears you need a converter box !!"

It's alllllll over the news.... people yakin' about it on the radio ...

so I get one.....

Frankly, I don't see what all the fuss is about...

didn't seem to do me any good at all.

I think Haremann is much safer in the box..things could get ugly all those tossed out wabbit ears..slippery situstion. will any thing save us!!

i never saw a computer running on rabbit ears anyway,,, wait,,, you said something about a radio,,, radios run on rabbit ears??? or did till,,, i guess that would be yesterday now.

@venice - All American TV is now being broadcast digitally, so people who can only receive analog signals thru their antenna will not be able to see the shows. So the converter boxes were developed to let those people still be able to watch TV.

I prefer STL's version though.

@Gladitsme - thank you for explaining it to me..... I think something like that is happening in Oz too - but we have until next year (although, don't quote me) - I'm not entirely sure....LOL

Cute cartoon! I got my first 2 a year ago, then hubby got 1 for another TV we use and got 2 off E-bay for the other 2 so we are all set. I got tired of all the 5 min. tests they kept doing to "let you know" your TV was not ready for the digital switch over!

well,, thanks for letting me know,,, i just deleted the post,,, stupid forwards,,, i dont even know how i got it to paste there,,, never had too much luck with copying and pasting pics here,,, even regular pics.

it was just a pic of a pig jumping over a ramp on one of those little skateboards with handle bars.

I'm so glad that I already had digital cable! I'd never be able to figure out the converter box. I saw a lady on the news a few days ago; who had to get the converter. She was shoeing how hard they are to hook up. Omg, all those wires! I love your rabbit illustrations.

@RestlessButterfly - sorry for the delay in replying -- "Hub bub" is american slang for "conversation, discussion, gossip and such" "Bub" is another slang for 'person' so loosely translated would be "What is everyone talking about ? " Thanks for stopping by, & thank you for the key chain !
